According to insider source BWE, RAW Superstar The Miz could be turning babyface soon to join forces with #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano):
“Few ideas discussed over a potential Miz face turn working with DIY. Not confirmed yet though.”
Miz & Ciampa joined forces last year as heels, so there is some history there.
On tonight’s RAW, #DIY will face Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci.
Speaking of tonight’s RAW, former NXT Tag Team Champions The Creed Brothers (real-life brothers Julius Creed & Brutus Creed) will answer Alpha Academy’s open challenge.
According to the Wrestling Observer, this is going to be the official call-up of The Creed Brothers, and not a one-off appearance:
“I was told tonight that right now, barring any changes, they’re being called up. Which also means they should win. I think it’s about time for them to be called up, honestly. I mean, they’re a little rough around the edges. They’re impressive as hell. Yeah. I mean, there was a time where it’s like, my mentality was and I’m sure it’s the same as theirs. It’s like these guys have the chance to be really big stars and they’re very, very high on Julius as a singles. But they’ll probably start as a tag team.
And you know, the deal in the sense of it’s like, don’t put them on that show before they’re ready. Because a lot of guys have been put up, brought up too early and pushed too early, and it ends up backfiring and you could make arguments that they’re not quite all the way there, even though,Julius will impress people with what he does and Brutus too, to a different degree. But I think it’s time.
Well, they’re certainly in there with the perfect opponents because Chad Gable is a fantastic wrestler. And the thing with Otis is if they throw Otis around and they can do that, it’ll get over. I think it’s about time for them. I think it’s time for Bron Breakker, too.”
In an update from BWE, Ivy Nile will also make her make roster debut on tonight’s RAW along with Creed Brothers. WWE plan on keeping them together on RAW as well.
