On this day in Pro Wrestling history on September 18, 1993, NWA Eastern Championship Wrestling held ‘ECW UltraClash 1993’ at the Viking Hall (ECW Arena) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This special event was taped but never made it onto an official ECW VHS (or later on DVD) in its complete form. It has also yet to be uploaded to the WWE Network.

• RAW Star’s Big Push Reportedly Begins

We have noted before that RAW Tag Team Champion Drew McIntyre is in-line for a main event push on RAW and a feud for the Universal Title is in his future.

According to the Wrestling Observer, McIntyre’s push as a top singles guy on RAW as begun. It was also noted that the plan for him is to eventually split from Ziggler and become a regular main eventer.

As seen on this week’s RAW, McIntyre defeated former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose clean.
