• Old School WWF Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 61st birthday of Old School WWF Veteran Bastion Booger (Real name: Mike Shaw).
Before he portrayed the gross but effective character of Bastion Booger in 1993 & 1994, he had several other gimmicks, including Klondike Mike (territories), Makhan Singh (Stampede Wrestling), Norman the Lunatic (WCW), Trucker Norm (WCW) & Friar Ferguson (WWF).

On this day in 2002, just a few short days after the WWF-WWE name change, the debut of “The Animal” Batista (as Deacon Batista) aired during an episode of SmackDown!.

• RAW Star Fakes Injury?
As we noted after the Backlash 2018 PPV, WWE announced that Alexa Bliss suffered a shoulder injury during her RAW Women’s Championship match against Nia Jax.
Nia Jax got some heat for this on Twitter and you can check out one such tweet below:

Nia then responded to the above tweet and revealed that Alexa faked her injury:

On this day in 1993, the World Wrestling Federation aired a promo of Mr. Fuji & Yokozuna about the WWF Title rematch against Champion Hulk Hogan at the upcoming King of the Ring PPV.

On this day in 1986, Bill Watts’ UWF Universal Wrestling Federation (f.k.a Mid-South Wrestling) aired a match between The Blade Runners and the team of “Dr. Death” Steve Williams & Ted DiBiase.
The Blade Runners would eventually become very famous, highly successful singles wrestlers, known as The Ultimate Warrior (WWF) and Sting (NWA/WCW).
