• RAW Star Going Through A Transitional Period – Possible New Role In WWE
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Matt Hardy’s wife Reby Hardy talked about Matt going through a transitional period and his in-ring career up in the air.
Below are the highlights:
On Matt going through a transitional period:
“Matt is good. Matt is right now going through a bit of a transitional period. He’s not really sure what he’s going to be doing. His contract is up in March, which I’m not sure many people are aware of. But there’s sort of a decision to be made at this point as to whether or not he should continue his in-ring career or if he should pursue something different, which he would totally be up for and would be excited to do, I feel like.”
EXCLUSIVE: @RebyHardy confirms to @davidlagreca1 & @TheMarkHenry that @MATTHARDYBRAND contract with the WWE is up this March, weighing options on future including a possible role backstage.#SummerSlam #RAW pic.twitter.com/vgARTrcyqW

On Matt’s possible new role in WWE (he worked as a producer backstage at SummerSlam 2018):
“So, he’s kind of giving it a go right now backstage. He’s at SummerSlam. He’s not on the card but he’s there. And we’re kind of going to see from here. It’s really a transitional time right now.”
For those who don’t know, Matt has been dealing with a weird condition where his lower back & pelvis have started fusing together due to the ‘Event Omega’ move.
Below is what Matt tweeted:
This maneuver was called EVENT OMEGA..
And is most likely the reason that I’ve recently learned that my lower back & pelvis have started fusing together. pic.twitter.com/FzYebvIIc0

Jonny Fairplay recently appeared on Wade Keller’s podcast and revealed that Matt Hardy hinted to him that the end of his in-ring career is near.
Jonny asked Matt for RAW tickets and Matt never had any problem in giving him tickets, but this time he gave the tickets to his family and friends because it was the last time he would be wrestling in that arena as his in-ring career could be over soon.
