• RAW Star Undergoes Surgery
On last week’s RAW, Bobby Lashley successfully retained the WWE Championship by defeating RAW Tag Team Champion Randy Orton (this happened before Big E successfully cashed-in his Money In The Bank contract to become the new WWE Champion).
During the match, Orton took out MVP with an RKO on the floor outside the ring.
WWE has announced that MVP suffered broken ribs due to this and is out indefinitely.

This is obviously a kayfabe (storyline) injury, which was used to write MVP off WWE programming for the time being.
MVP has now undergone knee surgery. He injured his knee during a 6-man tag team match earlier this year in February.
