• RAW Wrestler Fires Back At Kevin Nash

Last month, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash made headlines for a controversial remark about Je’Von Evans, saying the young wrestler was “a little too Mr. Bojangles” and that he wished Evans “was a little more urban.” The comment quickly drew backlash from fans who saw it as racially insensitive.

After the reaction, Nash issued an apology for his remarks, acknowledging that his words came across poorly. Speaking on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, Je’Von Evans addressed the situation directly. He said that people can spread negativity for engagement, but he’s going to keep moving forward.

“If you’re not doing anything right, they’re not talking about you. You know what I mean? Usually I feel like if you’re doing something right or they got your name in their mouth, you’re grinding. Some people have to do that just so they can get views or whatever.

Either way, at the end of the day, the Young OG is gonna keep on doing his thing. Young OG gonna keep on being Je’Von Evans. No matter who likes it or doesn’t like it.

I’m gonna keep on being 21… well, I’m gonna be 22 soon, but either way, I’m gonna keep on having fun. Literally, being me got me to where I’m at today. Apparently I’m doing something right because my bosses love me.”

• Jelly Roll’s Gesture That Earned Him Praise At WWE Performance Center Revealed

Jelly Roll made waves in WWE last year, making his in-ring debut at SummerSlam alongside Randy Orton against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. The country singer recently returned to start a feud with Kit Wilson and is rumored to be involved in a Tag Team match at WrestleMania 42 next month.

Speaking to Bootleg Kev, former United States Champion Jacob Fatu revealed the gesture Jelly Roll made at the WWE Performance Center that showed his dedication to the craft. After a full day of training, the singer took it upon himself to clean the ring.

“You see cats come in all the time and just get it in. You’ve seen the transformation in him. But it was more than that. When I got out the ring with this guy, and it wasn’t just me — shout out to Stacks and the other homie — it was what he did after.

When you get done training, you gotta clean the ring, sweep it, spray it down. We’re all sweaty in there. And I seen this man go up to the homie and say, ‘Nah, nah, nah, let me clean it. Tell me what I gotta do.’ And he’s not making a scene about it. Bro just cleaned up the whole ring, did what he had to do, wiped his feet, but also, I seen the love and the passion.

Professional wrestling, that’s what I love about this, not only because my family’s in it. But what I’ve seen, what I love about it, is professional wrestling brings different colors, different cultures, different backgrounds… It brings us all together.”
