On this day in 1999, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW MONDAY NITRO’.
It was broadcasted from the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Bash at the Beach 1999’ PPV.

• RAW Wrestler Got Busted Open In A Brutal Way On WWE Main Event (Video)
WWE taped matches for WWE Main Event prior to this week’s RAW and Dana Brooke faced Sarah Logan in one of the matches.
During this match, Dana’s head collided with the steel ring post after a vicious knee strike by Logan, which resulted in her getting busted open (similar to how Goldberg got busted open at WWE Super ShowDown 2019).
This resulted in the referee throwing the “X” sign and the match ended in a No-Contest.
