• Kairi Sane, alongside Asuka, holds the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and has been dominant in this role. Her recent return to WWE saw her align with Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai, after attacking Bianca Belair at Crown Jewel.
Her decision not to renew her contract with Stardom, a Japanese promotion, and return to WWE was influenced by her loyalty to Rossy Ogawa, who was terminated from his role there. This close relationship and Ogawa’s departure played a significant role in her choice, similar to another wrestler, Giulia, who also opted not to renew her contract with Stardom to support Ogawa’s new promotion.

“This was a part of the reason that Kairi did not sign a deal with Stardom and returned to WWE a few months back. She is close with Ogawa and knew he wouldn’t be part of Stardom going forward.
It’s also the reason Giulia didn’t sign a new deal with Stardom, and while agreeing to go to WWE, asked to delay her start.
Giulia had agreed from the start to help Ogawa start his new promotion long before WWE started pursuing her harder, and kept her word in that she will be there the first few months to use her star power to help kick it off before starting with WWE.”
