The popular duo of Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, known as The IInspiration (fka The IIconics in WWE), are officially moving on from TNA Wrestling.

After a successful stint that saw them capture the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship, the team dropped the titles to Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance on tonight’s AMC premiere of TNA iMPACT. This loss served as their final appearance for the promotion as they prepare to enter the free-agent market.

According to Fightful Select, the duo had been working on a series of short-term agreements after their original contracts expired in October 2025. While there were ongoing discussions about a long-term stay, Lee and McKay ultimately decided not to sign new contracts. The split is described as amicable, with the team remaining open to staying until they ultimately chose to “finish up” after tonight.

The wrestling world is now buzzing about where the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions will land next. Fightful’s report indicated there is significant interest in the team from major promotions outside of TNA.

Given their charisma and proven track record in the tag team division, many fans are speculating on a potential return to WWE or a fresh start in AEW as both companies look to bolster their women’s rosters for the 2026 season.

– WWE Superstar AJ Styles kicked off the AMC era of TNA iMPACT and welcomed the fans to the show.

– TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys and Elijah def. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler)

After the match, Special Agent 0 attacked The Hardys and Elijah. Vincent and Dutch then attacked Matt and Jeff Hardy.

– TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian was interviewed backstage and he was interrupted by AJ Styles. Styles looked at the TNA World Title during this confrontation, thus teasing going after the title.

– TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella brought in Daria Rae (fka Sonya Deville) as the “The Suit.” This was Daria’s TNA debut.

Daria praised Santino’s work in TNA, but she turned on him soon. Daria said Santino isn’t professional and can’t even keep his family out of this. Daria said she can do Santino’s job better than him. Daria has taken over day-to-day TNA operations from Santino.

Rae then announced that she has signed a new knockout to TNA: Elayna Black (fka Cora Jade in WWE). Elayna then returned to TNA (as she wrestled in TNA while she was in NXT), but this was her official debut as a TNA Knockout.

– AJ Styles hyped up Mike Santana backstage and told him to win the TNA World Championship tonight.

– TNA International Champion Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Arianna Grace mocked Santino Marella.

– TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship Match: Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance def. The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay) (c) to win the titles

– The Elegance Brand picked a fight with Indi Hartwell.

– Santino Marella announced that Lei Ying Lee (c) vs. Dani Luna for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Genesis will no longer take place due to Luna having visa issues. Zaria from WWE NXT will replace Luna and face Lee for the title at Genesis.

– Santino Marella announced that TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater is having visa issues and will no longer compete at Genesis. Santino said it will now be Moose vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Joe Hendry in a Triple Threat Match at Genesis.

– Johnny Dango Curtis (aka Fandango in WWE) said he will give everything he has in his retirement match against Eddie Edwards at Genesis. Dango revealed that he has chosen his replacement in The System and will reveal who it is next week.

– Former TNA President Dixie Carter made an appearance to talk about TNA’s 24-year history and fans booed her. Bully Ray came out and hugged Dixie, and then joined the commentary team for the main event.
