Real Reason Behind WWE Not Using The Fiend At TLC 2019

Bray Wyatt defeats The Miz at WWE TLC 2019

• Old School Wrestling Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School Wrestling Legend “The Whole F’N Show” Rob Van Dam (Real name: Rob Szatkowski) turns 49 today.

He wrestled as Robbie V in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling from 1992 to 1993 but only became a major name when he joined Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling in early 1996 and adapted the nickname “Mr. Monday Night” while invading WWF RAW IS WAR for several weeks in 1997.

When ECW went bankrupt in 2001, he was one of the Wrestlers that found a new permanent home in the World Wrestling Federation, where he played a major role during the infamous WCW/ECW invasion storyline.

Over the years, RVD won World Titles in both WWE and TNA (Total Nonstop Action).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROB VAN DAM!

• Real Reason Behind WWE Not Using The Fiend At TLC 2019

As seen at TLC 2019, “Bray Wyatt” competed in the ring after a long time and defeated The Miz in a non-title match.

According to Slice Wrestling, WWE didn’t use The Fiend at TLC 2019 because Vince McMahon wants to keep that character special and felt it wasn’t needed at a PPV like TLC, which isn’t considered one of WWE’s top PPV events.

Vince wants to prevent The Fiend from getting overexposed, as he is their top attraction. Most of WWE’s top wrestlers are overexposed and it hurts their character and drawing power a lot.

Also, booking Bray Wyatt to face The Miz helped in The Miz getting some offense during the match, which wouldn’t have been possible if it was The Fiend. Daniel Bryan was also able to beat down Wyatt when he returned, something WWE wouldn’t have done if it was The Fiend as it would’ve made him look weak.
