• ECW Legend Thinks WWE Can’t Afford Vince McMahon Taking His Eyes Off The Company
During a recent appearance on The Hannibal TV, ECW Legend Shane Douglas had the following to say regarding Vince McMahon relaunching the XFL:
“If the NFL continues doing what they’re doing next year, and we see a similar decline – which I don’t see why it would turn around – two years from now people might be saying Vince McMahon is a genius again.
It’s crazy, but I think that the last thing the WWE needs right now is for him to take his eye off it and doing anything else. WWE needs a lot of help right now.”
• Real Reason Why Booker T Was Removed From The Raw Commentary Team, Corey Graves Appearing On Booker T’s Show
As we all know, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T was removed from the Raw commentary team and was replaced by Jonathan “Coach” Coachman.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the only reason Booker T was removed was because of the signing of The Coach, who was always loyal to the company and was welcomed with open arms.
As we noted before, Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso reported that Booker T saying Corey Graves is responsible for him not being on Raw is just a work and was done to put more heel heat on Corey and generate publicity for Booker T’s radio show.
Booker T has now invited Corey Graves to his show to “clear the air”:
I’m going to address all of the news from this past week on my show tomorrow. There’s been a lot of things said and I’d like to publicly invite @WWEGraves to call in and clear the air.
