Hulk Hogan won’t appear on Saturday Night’s Main Event tonight in San Antonio. Chris Featherstone first reported the change, citing a family-related reason for Hogan’s absence.
Featherstone also clarified that Hogan’s withdrawal is unrelated to recent incidents, such as being booed in Los Angeles or during arena commercials for the event, as well as any speculation involving Jesse Ventura. Hogan had been a central figure in the show’s promotional material.
In an update, PWInsider is reporting that Hogan will miss tonight’s show because his son, Nick Hogan, is getting married.
Below is the card for Saturday Night’s Main Event:
– Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship
– Bron Breakker (c) vs. Sheamus for the Intercontinental Championship
– Jacob Fatu vs. Braun Strowman
– Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax
– Shawn Michaels will hold a Contract Signing for the Undisputed WWE Championship Ladder Match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble 2025
– Jesse Ventura will appear
WrestleVotes reported the following about tonight’s show:
“In a clear sign of their sustained popularity, WWE and SiriusXM will broadcast the audio of Saturday Night’s Main Event live on NBC Sports SiriusXM Channel 85 this weekend.”
