• Real Reason Why Rey Mysterio Will Headline WWE Hall Of Fame 2023
WWE shocked the fans when they announced Rey Mysterio, who is still an active competitor, as the first inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023.
He will be inducted by his longtime friend, WCW Veteran Konnan.
According to PWInsider, Rey will headline this year’s class.
Many fans were expecting Batista to get inducted this year and headline the class, especially since the theme for this year’s WrestleMania is Hollywood and he’s a Hollywood star now.
However, Batista isn’t available this year either, as he’s in South Africa filming his new movie “My Spy”.
This is the reason why WWE decided to go with Mysterio as the headliner, despite him not being retired from in-ring competition, as they need a big name to headline.
