• Reason Behind AEW Holding Bryan Danielson Back From Wrestling At An Indy Event
AEW President Tony Khan allows his wrestlers to work indy events.
Last weekend, AEW wrestler Jon Moxley faced Tom Lawler at DEFY Wrestling’s Wild One’s event in Seattle, Washington.
After the match, Moxley cut a promo and teased that Bryan might be coming to DEFY Wrestling soon to team up with him.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that AEW is holding Bryan back from competing at this indy event because they want to hold off on Bryan’s first match in Seattle, Washington until they have their own show over there.
Bryan is currently a part of the Blackpool Combat Club in All Elite Wrestling, along with Moxley & Wheeler Yuta, managed by William Regal.
