• Reason Behind Cesaro Leaving WWE

After a 10 year run in the company, Cesaro is leaving WWE.

His contract recently expired and he decided not to re-sign, which means there’s no 90-day non-compete clause.

While many fans believe Cesaro left because of his poor booking by WWE creative, but that’s not the case.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Cesaro wanted to stay in WWE, but WWE didn’t offer him the money he wanted:

“This was more of a WWE decision than a Cesaro decision in the sense he wasn’t looking to leave like others were, but they made an offer he didn’t like. He is free to go anywhere immediately.

They didn’t offer him a huge deal like Owens and Zayn and Styles to stay.”

While the salary of Owens and Zayn under their new contract isn’t known, AJ Styles is making $3 million per year under his new multi-year deal.
