Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring Nia Jax and Brock Lesnar.
• Nia Jax was last seen on WWE programming at the Elimination Chamber PLE, where she teamed up with Candice LeRae to lose to WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus.
WrestleVotes reported the following about Nia’s absence from WWE TV since her loss:
“Nia Jax has been… I want to phrase this properly. Not cleared. That’s the best way I can put it. She was due to be cleared I believe two weeks ago. Don’t know if that’s happened.
Obviously, she hasn’t been on TV. Don’t know if it was due to an injury or what not. I do know internally that she’s not been cleared for action, which is why she hasn’t been on TV.
I don’t know what caused her to be on the inactive list. Don’t want to speculate. Hate to do that so I just know she’s been inactive with the anticipation of coming back I believe it was back on March 22nd. I don’t know why she’s not been cleared.”

• Brock Lesnar, absent from WWE since SummerSlam 2023, recently made a rare public appearance backstage at a comedy show, sparking further discussion about his potential return to wrestling.
A fan shared on Twitter that he encountered Lesnar at a “Dr. Phil is Live” stand-up comedy show on March 30th at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. The fan posted a selfie with Lesnar, who was seen wearing a Lynyrd Skynyrd t-shirt and appeared to be enjoying himself.
Lesnar’s WWE return remains shrouded in uncertainty. He was initially slated for the 2024 Royal Rumble, but those plans were abandoned due to his connection to Vince McMahon’s legal controversies.
After Lesnar’s name was mentioned in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis, WWE opted to stop using The Beast.
