• Reason Behind Plans For The Undertaker & Others Changing At SmackDown 1000

As seen this week at SmackDown 1000, The Undertaker closed the show with a very short segment where he said the same thing that he said in a pre-taped vignette on RAW – that DX will Rest In Peace at WWE Crown Jewel.

According to PWInsider, plans for The Undertaker changed as SmackDown 1000 was having a lot of scheduling issues after other segments ran over their alloted time.

Taker suffered the most due to this as his segment was last and WWE had to put their biggest active in-ring Legend on such a historic episode at any cost so he ended up cutting a very short promo.

It should be noted that ‘The Deadman’ wasn’t the only one affected from this.

Zack Ryder & James Ellsworth were also scheduled to be featured in segments and those segments were completely nixed.

Also, the main event bout between Rey Mysterio & United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura had to be trimmed down.
