• Reason Behind Ric Flair’s RAW Appearance Being Cancelled Last Week

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan paid tribute to the late “Mean” Gene Okerlund last week on RAW. It should be noted that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was also at RAW for this tribute, but WWE ended up only using Hogan.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials felt that only Hogan paying tribute to Mean Gene was more apt than adding Flair to it because Hogan & Mean Gene go way back.

Also, WWE officials knew this was a great way of bringing Hogan back to WWE TV without the fans complaining, so they went with Hogan doing a solo tribute for his longtime friend.
