On this day in 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF RAW IS WAR’.
It was broadcasted from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and featured matches, interviews & segments, on the road to the ‘WWF Invasion 2001’ PPV.

• Reason Behind Shayna Baszler Being Demoted To WWE Main Event
2-Time NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler hasn’t done much on the WWE main roster since her feud with Becky Lynch ended. The Queen Of Spades was last seen on TV on the 18th May edition of RAW, where she defeated Natalya.
Baszler worked WWE Main Event tapings last week. For those who don’t know, lower mid-card talent work WWE Main Event.
According to The Dirty Sheets, Baszler’s decision to not work a recent set of WWE TV tapings due to COVID-19 issues resulted in her being demoted to WWE Main Event.
WWE officials think “she wasn’t a big star to decide to not attend tapings”.
It was also noted in the report that WWE was planning to do Asuka vs. Shayna Baszler for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2020, but that spot will now go to Nia Jax.
