• Reason Behind SummerSlam 2021 Taking Place On A Saturday

This year’s SummerSlam 2021 pay-per-view will take place on Saturday, August 21st and the location will most likely be the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fans will be present in full capacity at this event.

Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported regarding the PPV taking place on Saturday instead of the usual Sunday:

“So this is the deal, the reason it’s a Saturday is because the stadium in Vegas wanted a Saturday. However, it may not be in Vegas, but they already have the date.

The date’s a bad date because it’s the same as Manny Pacquiao vs. Errol Spence.”

Another reason for the PPV taking place on a Saturday is to pull in a wider casual audience, as they might travel to the event for the weekend without taking off from work on both Friday & Monday.

This is why WWE feels it’s important to bring back John Cena in the main event for this show and for American Rapper Cardi B to be the host of the show.
