• Reason Behind Triple H Rejecting Offer To Run SmackDown

Former WCW President Eric Bischoff will now be running SmackDown Live as the Executive Director, but this position was offered to someone else originally.

According to Brad Shepard, WWE Hall of Famer Triple H was offered the position of Executive Director of SmackDown, but the condition was that he’d still have to run NXT as well and that’s what led to Triple H declining the offer.

Below is what Brad posted:

“Triple H was offered Eric Bischoff’s Executive Director role on #SDLive under the condition that he juggle NXT as well, and he declined.”

While everyone eventually reports to Vince McMahon in the end, below are the people that basically run WWE’s various shows now:

RAW – Paul Heyman

SmackDown – Eric Bischoff
