Old School Attitude Era Veteran “Mr. Águila” Essa Ríos (Real name: José Delgado Saldaña) turns 40 today.
Águila wrestled Taka Michinoku for the Light Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 14 in Boston in a losing effort, but won the championship 3 years later when he wrestled as Essa Ríos, by defeating Gillberg during an episode of WWF Sunday Night HEAT.

• Reason Behind WWE Booking Alexa Bliss In Long Talk Segments Recently
If you’ve watched RAW recently, WWE booked former RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss in long talk segments.
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials like Alexa a lot and think the audience wants to see her every Monday night. Since Alexa isn’t completely ready to return to in-ring action, WWE officials continue to book her in talk segments (despite them turning out to be boring) just to give her more TV time.
On tonight’s episode of RAW, Alexa will host a press conference. Below is what WWE posted about this:

“As head of the Raw Women’s division, Alexa Bliss announced via Twitter that she will be holding a press conference this coming Monday in advance of the Raw Women’s Championship Match between Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax at WWE TLC.
