• Reason Behind WWE Not Booking A Women’s Hell In A Cell Match At Hell In A Cell 2018

Many fans have expressed their thoughts on how the Charlotte Flair – Becky Lynch feud is worthy having a Hell In A Cell match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

However, that’s not what’s happening. Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy is the match from SmackDown Live brand that’ll be contested inside the Hell In A Cell structure this Sunday at Hell In A Cell 2018 PPV.

The first and only women’s Hell In A Cell match till date took place back in 2016 between Charlotte Flair & Sasha Banks for the RAW Women’s Championship and it main evented the PPV.

You can watch the complete match below:

Majority of the people were left disappointed by the match (unless they were watching it for Sasha’s wardrobe malfunction 😉 ) and one of them was Vince McMahon.

Vince had told people backstage that this (women main eventing the PPV in a Hell in a Cell match) wasn’t a good idea and Vince was proved right.

According to PWInsider, this is exactly the reason why a women’s Hell In A Cell match hasn’t happened since and won’t happen this year either.
