On this day in 1995, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of WCW Saturday Night, featuring a match between “The Macho Man” Randy Savage and “Stunning” Steve Austin, who eventually became known as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin less than a year later.

• Reason Behind WWE Not Using Authors of Pain & SAnitY On The Main Roster
In April, former NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain made their WWE main roster debut on RAW and it was announced that NXT’s SAnitY will make their debut on SmackDown Live.
However, WWE hasn’t used Authors of Pain much on WWE programming as of late and SAnitY didn’t even make one main roster appearance.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE isn’t Authors of Pain & SAnitY right now because the creative team doesn’t have any plans for them as of now.
Expect these two teams to appear more around SummerSlam 2018 or after that PPV.
