Below are some top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, involving Dolph Ziggler, Charlotte Flair and Cora Jade.

• Former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler was released from WWE a few months back. The Wrestling Observer recently reported that Ziggler is expected to sign with AEW as many backstage expect him to be there soon.

In an update, The Observer reports that Ziggler isn’t coming to All Elite Wrestling in the near future. During a recent Q&A session, Ziggler said he’s going to take 6 months to a year off from pro-wrestling.

Ziggler’s younger brother Ryan Nemeth also wrestles in AEW.

• On last night’s “Tribute To The Troops” edition of SmackDown, Asuka defeated Charlotte Flair with help from Bayley.

Charlotte hurt her knee during this match and had to be helped to the back.

You can watch the spot where she got hurt below:

• Cora Jade, the 22-year-old star who last wrestled on July 25th 2023, is set to make her return to NXT soon.

Despite her hiatus, she made a social media outburst in October, criticizing WWE’s developmental brand by saying that NXT sucks.

However, recent reports suggest she is scheduled to return “imminently”, potentially tonight at the NXT Deadline premium live event, according to the Wrestling Observer.
