• Recently Released WWE Wrestler Announced For AEW Women’s Tag Team Tournament
AEW Women’s Tag Team Tournament, The Deadly Draw, will kick off this Monday on YouTube. So far, 4 name have been confirmed for the tournament, which include Nyla Rose & Ariane Andrew and Brandi Rhodes & Allie.
On his Saturday Night Special on Facebook, Chris Jericho confirmed two more names for the tournament, who’ll be Ty Conti (former NXT wrestler Taynara Conti) and Anna Jay.
Ty Conti and Anna Jay will face off against Nyla Rose and Ariane Andrews.
Below is what Jericho said:
“The women’s tag team tournament, I think you guys are really going to like it, we’re giving a lot of different people a chance. I was really surprised, there was a match Nyla Rose and Ariana Andrews against Ty Conti and Anna Jay.
Ty, I’m not sure how many matches she just had, I know she was with NXT, and Ariane, we haven’t seen her in a few years now, Anna Jay’s super green, even Nyla’s fairly green, so I didn’t know what to expect. I watched this match, and all four girls just kicked a$$! It was really good, it was way better than I expected. I’m not saying that in a mean way either, they really impressed me, all of them!”
Conti was released by WWE during the budget cuts in April.
