• Old School ECW Announcer Celebrates His Birthday
Old School ECW Announcer Joey Styles (Real name: Joseph Bonsignore) celebrates his 49th birthday today.
Joey Styles is well remembered as the famous voice of Extreme Championship Wrestling from 1993 until they closed their doors in early 2001.
Not only was Styles doing both, color commentary & play-by-play commentary on his own, but he was also the host of the weekly TV show “ECW Hardcore TV”, and often also worked as the company’s ring announcer.
From 2005 to 2016, he worked for the WWE, mostly doing backstage jobs like for WWE’s website or WWE’s mobile app, but he also served as a commentator on WWE’s version of ECW (on ScyFy), as well as the two ECW One Night Stand PPVs.

• Recently Released WWE Wrestler Wants To Face Hulk Hogan & Kurt Angle
Former WWE wrestler Rusev recently did a Q&A session with fans on his Twitch stream.
One of the fans asked Miro to name his dream opponents. He named Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle, the two WWE Hall Of Famers.
“I want to wrestle Hogan for sure. I’ve been in the ring with him, but I haven’t wrestled him. But yeah, I want to wrestle Hogan or Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle, for sure. I love Kurt. Kurt is probably my favorite, you know, him and Hogan, are [number] one and two.
But work-wise, I would definitely take…I don’t know, man, it’s really hard. That’s what I’m saying. Well, I’ll say Hogan because Hogan was always number one to me. Kurt eventually became number one, but Hogan was just the reason why I’m freaking here.”
Miro was a part of Team Hogan at Crown Jewel 2019. He was also lucky enough to face The Undertaker at The Greatest Royal Rumble 2018.
