Below are a couple of top AEW news stories of the day.
• Elektra Lopez, who was a part of Santos Escobar’s Legado Del Fantasma faction, was recently released from WWE.
According to Fightful Select, she was backstage at last night’s AEW Revolution PPV.
Chris Featherstone recently reported that TNA is actively in talks with Lopez, and sources say there’s “very high interest” in bringing her in once her 90-day non-compete clause expires.
While other promotions have shown interest, Lopez appears to be leaning toward TNA, which aligns with the growing relationship between WWE NXT and TNA.

• Queen of the Ring star Damaris Lewis appeared on camera at AEW Revolution and said the following:
“You all know you are going to win before everybody else does, so thank you for teaching me that.”
According to Fightful Select, there were audible groans backstage at the PPV when Lewis said this.
“Queen of the Ring,” a film about wrestling pioneer Mildred Burke, had a disappointing box office performance.
In its limited release across 825 U.S. theaters, it earned only $380,000. This is significantly lower than other films released the same weekend and far less than the opening weekend of “The Iron Claw,” another wrestling-themed movie.
The film, starring Emily Bett Rickards and featuring wrestlers like Naomi, Kamille and Toni Storm, received limited attention despite its historical subject matter and involvement of notable figures like Jim Ross and Jim Cornette.
