• Xia Li, the first Chinese talent to join WWE, debuted on Friday Night SmackDown in 2021 after developing her skills in NXT. Earlier this year, she was released from WWE, leaving fans curious about her next move. Xia Li has now confirmed her upcoming MMA debut.
Combat Night MMA announced on Instagram that Xia Li will fight Xiomara Lee on August 3rd in Kissimmee. Xiomara has a 1-0 record as an amateur, while Xia Li will bring her wushu experience to the fight.
Combat Night MMA’s Instagram post reads:
“We didn’t forget about the ladies on August 3 in Kissimmee. We can’t wait to watch @x.athletica vs @thexiazhao step inside the Combatagon to throw down. This fight has fireworks written all over it and is guaranteed entertainment for the fans.”
• On this week’s 250th episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF defeated Will Ospreay in a 1 Hour Match to win the AEW International Championship.
Ospreay was hit in the head with the Dynamite Diamond Ring by MJF to pick up the win in the end, just 1 second before the 60-minute time limit expired.
2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair tweeted the following about MJF’s title win:

• This week’s RAW was main evented by Sami Zayn vs. Ilja Dragunov for the Intercontinental Championship. However, there was no clear winner as Bron Breakker interfered and took out both men.
A lot of fans are expecting a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship between Zayn, Breakker, and Dragunov at SummerSlam 2024, but that’s not the case.
According to the Wrestling Observer, a singles rematch between Zayn and Breakker is still the plan for SummerSlam on August 3rd.
Sami previously defeated Bron at Money In The Bank to retain the Intercontinental Title.
