During an episode of his Cafe De Rene, former WWE Superstar Rene Dupree revealed that Jackie Gayda rejected Vince McMahon’s advances during the Ruthless Aggression Era and got fired as a result.

Here’s what Dupree said:

“You remember when we had Charlie Haas on here, and he told a story about how Johnny Ace (John Laurnatis) fired him and Jackie the day they got back from their honeymoon?

Well, let’s just say Vince also made a pass at Jackie, which she declined. And you see what happened once her and Charlie got married.

If you listen to this story, it seems like if you don’t put Vince over and you don’t boost his ego, he gets mad at you and takes it out on your career.”

In an unreleased statement prior to her death, former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro also claimed she was punished for rejecting McMahon by receiving bad scripts that tarnished her reputation. She described feeling uncomfortable as McMahon incessantly called her hotel and cell phones.

This statement was omitted from the affidavit published after her death, where she accused McMahon and top executives of covering up her rape on a military base in 2006, a claim denied by WWE initially but later confirmed by an attorney for John Laurinaitis.

Massaro also alleged witnessing McMahon engaging in intimate behavior with female wrestlers in the locker room and experiencing $exual harassment herself.

She believed the demeaning scripts were intended to ruin her reputation, similar to what another female wrestler experienced before leaving WWE, though her name was withheld in the Vice report for privacy reasons. Tap here to read more about this.
