On this day in 1990, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.
It was pre-taped at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Des Moines, Iowa and featured matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF SummerSlam 1990’.

• Renee Young Leaving WWE
Outkick is reporting that WWE announcer Renee Young will be leaving WWE, but is still expected to work during SummerSlam weekend. They also noted that while AEW could be a possibility, “Young also has offers outside of the wrestling industry, sources say.”
PWInsider has confirmed the report and provided more information on it:
“We are told Young gave the company notice a week ago that she intends to exit. There is no word when her final date with the company is yet.”
Young has a cookbook launching soon, so it’s likely that she’s going to focus on it for now.
