Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, featuring Ric Flair and Xavier Woods.

• 2-Time WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW talent Ric Flair was kicked out of Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza in Gainesville, Florida.

Here’s what The Nature Boy tweeted:

“I Spent $1500 At @PiesanosSFP To Be Disrespected More Than I Ever Have In My Entire Life.

After Taking 20 Pictures With Customers And Staff, I Was Asked To Leave Because Of An Issue I Had With The Kitchen Manager Taking Too Long In The Bathroom.

I Would Highly Recommend That Anyone Who Wants To Enjoy A Relaxing Time In Gainesville At A Nice Restaurant To Never Visit This Place! WOOOOO!”

As reported by The Gainesville Sun, Jerry Roberts, co-owner of Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, clarified that video footage sheds light on the reason for Flair’s removal from the restaurant. However, the video has not been made available to the public.

“We have reviewed video of the incident that took place recently at our restaurant. It is clear that our team worked in a professional manner to ensure the safety of guests and staff.

We have thanked our team for their professionalism. We are proud of how they responded to this situation, demonstrating our team values.”

• As we noted on our WrestleFeed App, Asuka and Drew McIntyre are injured. In an update, another RAW wrestler is currently injured – Xavier Woods.

During a backstage segment on this week’s RAW, Kofi Kingston revealed that Xavier was slated to compete in this year’s King of the Ring tournament, with hopes of securing his second tournament victory after his previous win in 2021.

Unfortunately, Woods sustained an injury during a recent match against Gunther on RAW, visibly favoring his leg. Kingston revealed that Woods would be sidelined indefinitely due to the injury.

Despite this setback, Kingston emphasized his own focus on the King of the Ring tournament, highlighting his upcoming tournament match against WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio at a WWE Live Event this weekend. He expressed his determination to win in honor of his injured tag team partner.
