• On the debut episode of WWE Speed on X, Ricochet defeated Dragon Lee to advance to the next round of the tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Speed Champion.
The matches on WWE Speed have a 3-minute time limit. Ricochet won the match with only 3 seconds remaining.
Axiom vs. JD McDonagh will be the next tournament match on next week’s episode.

• In the main event of WrestleMania 40 – Night 1, The Rock will team up with WWE Champion Roman Reigns to take on 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
WWE is promoting this as the biggest tag team match of all time.
If Rhodes and Rollins win, then all members of The Bloodline will be barred from ringside during Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match against Reigns on Night 2.
However, if Reigns and Rock win, then the championship match on Sunday will be contested under Bloodline Rules.
We are being told that Rock and Roman are currently scheduled to defeat Cody & Seth on Saturday, with Rock pinning Cody to win the match for his team.
This will lead to Reigns vs. Rhodes II for the WWE Championship being done under Bloodline Rules on Sunday.
If Cody loses on Sunday, he won’t get another chance to Finish The Story.
