Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day.
• WWE is currently without two key figures, Bruce Prichard and Michael Hayes, who are on leave for personal reasons. While no exact return date has been set, Hayes is likely to return soon.
Hayes has played a crucial role in the creative direction of the Bloodline storyline since its inception in 2020 and typically serves as the agent for Roman Reigns’ matches and segments.
In Hayes’ absence, Jamie Noble and Bobby Roode have taken on his responsibilities.
According to PWInsider, Roode has been receiving “tons of praise” for his work, handling several top WWE main events and stepping up effectively during this period.
Roode retired from in-ring competition due to injuries, with his last match taking place in 2022, which was a loss to Omos at a WWE Live Event. He works as a Backstage Producer now.

• WWE has significant plans for Monday Night RAW on Netflix, with the debut episode expected to have a premium live event feel.
Advertised stars include John Cena, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair and CM Punk for the Los Angeles premiere.
Netflix, which already hosts a WWE content section, lists RAW as a TV-14 show. While this doesn’t signal a return to the crassness of the Attitude Era, it suggests more uncensored promos and slightly edgier storylines.
Earlier this year, The Rock’s promos were sometimes censored by FOX and the USA Network. Triple H confirmed that this won’t happen on Netflix.
The first RAW on Netflix will take place at the Intuit Dome in L.A. on January 6, 2025. Travis Scott will appear on this episode and his music will serve as the official theme song for the red brand during the Netflix era.
