• “If Sandman has a problem with me then do something about it. You p*$$y” – Kurt Angle

A resurfaced clip from the Legion of Skanks podcast has reignited an old ECW controversy—and sparked a new war of words between two wrestling veterans.

During his appearance on the podcast, ECW Legend The Sandman brought up the infamous crucifixion angle from ECW’s High Incident event in October 1996. The storyline saw Sandman tied to a wooden cross by Raven and his stable, a moment that quickly became one of the most controversial in wrestling history.

At the time, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle was in the building as a guest, exploring a possible deal with ECW. After seeing the segment, Angle reportedly left in disgust and chose not to associate with the company.

Nearly 30 years later, The Sandman still isn’t over it. In the newly circulated clip, he took aim at Angle for walking out. “He’s a p*$$y,” Sandman said during the interview, mocking Angle’s reaction to the angle.

Angle didn’t stay silent. He spotted the clip on TikTok and fired back in the comments. “If Sandman has a problem with me then do something about it. You p*$$y.” he wrote.
