• Rey Mysterio No Longer Under WWE Contract
Former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio returned to WWE full-time back in September 2018.
F4WOnline noted the following about his current status with WWE:
“Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Mysterio’s WWE deal, which he signed in September 2018, has expired but is still working for WWE. Mysterio and his son Dominik have been heavily featured on RAW in a key storyline with Seth Rollins.”
It was also noted that Mysterio hasn’t signed any official contract with WWE yet, so his ongoing run is basically a handshake deal.
A couple of months ago, Meltzer did say that Mysterio isn’t going anywhere, so it’s likely he’ll sign an extension with WWE.
