• Rey Mysterio Recalls Cancelled WrestleMania Plan With Donald Trump

Former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio was originally supposed to be WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump’s choice to represent him during the “Battle of Billionaires – Hair vs. Hair” match at WrestleMania 23, according to former WWE writer Court Bauer.

However, plans changed and Bobby Lashley replaced Mysterio in that match.

During a recent interview with Al Jazeera, Mysterio had the following to say about those cancelled plans:

“Imagine some of those images popping up at this time if I was that person [WWE went with]. It would have been interesting to see those pictures floating around these days; Donald Trump with the Mexican-American wrestler Rey Mysterio.”
