• As seen on last night’s episode of SmackDown, Carlito blamed Santos Escobar for Rey Mysterio losing the United States Championship to Logan Paul at Crown Jewel, as Santos is the one that left the brass knuckles on the ring apron for Logan to use.
When Rey took Carlito’s side after Santos refused to save Carlito from Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits, Santos turned heel and attacked Rey.
Women’s World Champion and Dominik Mysterio’s on-screen girlfriend Rhea Ripley tweeted the following about it:
“At this point Rey Mysterio… I think YOU might be the problem 🤭”
US Champion Logan Paul then replied:
“Totally agree.”
• Former WWE Champion Sheamus on last seen on the August 18th episode of SmackDown, where he lost to Edge in a first time ever match.
He has been off TV since then due to a shoulder injury, but The Celtic Warrior is coming back.
WWE is advertising Sheamus for the November 24th (the night before Survivor Series 2023), December 8th & December 15th episodes of SmackDown.
• Chris Jericho will face Konosuke Takeshita at this Sunday’s DDT event in Tokyo, Japan.
• At last night’s NXT Live Event, Lexis King (fka Brian Pillman Jr.) suffered his first loss in WWE, when he lost to Carmelo Hayes.
• On last night’s episode of SmackDown, Austin Theory & Grayson Waller came out to confront Kevin Owens. Theory shoved Owens and Waller poured water on Owens’ head.
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis told Owens that he’d be suspended if he got physical while being on commentary. Owens didn’t care and attacked both of them.
In a backstage segment after the show, Aldis suspended Owens:
