• AEW Grand Slam: Australia gained more buzz when WWE’s Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was spotted at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, attending the taping to support her husband, AEW wrestler Buddy Matthews.
A photo of Ripley at the venue fueled fan discussion, especially with Matthews challenging Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Continental Championship.
• AEW’s Grand Slam: Australia was meant to be a milestone event, but Tony Khan was met with boos when introduced at the taping at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

• Josh Alexander is now a free agent as his TNA Wrestling contract has expired. He is being represented by wrestling agent Barry Bloom, who also represents Kenny Omega and Jim Ross.
According to Fightful Select, industry sources expect Alexander to sign with AEW if he hasn’t already.
WWE showed interest in him last year, but sources confirm he has not signed with them. While it’s unclear if a deal is finalized, All Elite Wrestling remains the expected destination.
