• WWE unveiled footage from Seth Rollins’ ref cam used at SummerSlam 2024. The ref cam made its debut at SummerSlam, where Seth Rollins served as the guest referee for the match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk.
In a tweet, WWE posted highlights from Rollins’ ref cam. One clip showed Rollins urging McIntyre to hit Punk harder. He then mocked McIntyre, saying an overhead suplex never won a match. He also taunted Punk, suggesting he could just quit, retire and leave WWE.

Ultimately, McIntyre defeated Punk after Punk got distracted by Rollins and hit him with a GTS, allowing McIntyre to take advantage after hitting a low-blow.
CM Punk later made it clear he wasn’t finished with McIntyre. On the August 5th episode of RAW, he demanded a rematch. Instead of McIntyre, Rollins came out, saying it was time to “put Punk in the dirt”. McIntyre then interrupted, provoking Punk to chase him into the crowd.
Meanwhile, Bronson Reed viciously attacked Rollins, delivering 6 Tsunamis.
