Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day:

– Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was last seen on the September 11th episode of RAW, where she retained her title against Raquel Rodriguez with some help from the returning Nia Jax.

After the match, Ripley got attacked by Jax.

On the September 18th episode of RAW, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio revealed that Ripley couldn’t be at RAW because she was injured. Michael Cole confirmed this on commentary and revealed that Ripley suffered bruised ribs due to Jax’s attack.

During this injury angle, Ripley took time off from WWE to go on vacation with her fiancé Buddy Matthews. Both of them were spotted at the Carlton FC game in Australia.

According to Fightful Select, Ripley will be back this week. She may return on Monday’s episode of RAW before Fastlane, or during the Fastlane weekend.

It’s likely that WWE will set up a match between Ripley and Jax once she’s back.

– After holding Night Of Champions in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia back in May, WWE will return to the kingdom on Saturday, November 4 for the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event.

As always, WWE will be looking to book star-studded matches for the show. The main event is rumored to be an Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and AJ Styles.

According to the Wrestling Observer, not all top WWE stars will be traveling for Crown Jewel this year.  WWE has scheduled a House Show on the day of Crown Jewel in Rochester, New York, which means several stars will stay in the US to perform there.

WWE will tape the November 3rd episode of SmackDown a week before the event.
