– Tonight’s RAW kicked off with Michael Cole and Corey Graves announcing that LA Knight is out of action indefinitely with a bruised sternum due to the attack by Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed on last week’s SmackDown.
– Mr. Money In The Bank Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed came to the ring. Seth said he doesn’t care what the fans want and they need someone like him to tell them what is good for them at the end of the day. Seth claimed there are many Champions and Challengers including John Cena, Gunther, Bill Goldberg, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso and Randy Orton that want to exist at the top of WWE but they are destined to be in second place because he represents the finish line, and he will always be the endgame.
– Bron Breakker def. Penta
– During a sit-down interview with Michael Cole, Goldberg confirmed that his match against Gunther is going to be his retirement match. The WCW Legend said: “I’m going to beat the f**k out of Gunther.”
– Lyra Valkyria wished Bayley best of luck before her match against Becky Lynch later tonight.
– Adam Pearce told AJ Styles that his match against Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship will no longer be taking place at Night of Champions due to Dirty Dom dealing with an injury. Later in an interview, Dominik said his ribs hurt and he misses Liv Morgan.
– Jade Cargill def. Roxanne Perez to advance to the Final of the Queen of the Ring tournament
She will face Asuka at Night of Champions and had a face-off with her after the match.
– World Heavyweight Champion Gunther addressed Goldberg. He said Goldberg was the most destructive force of his generation, but:
“It is not 1999 anymore, it is 2025 and right now, I’m the guy. I’m the best professional wrestler in this company.”
Gunther apologized to Goldberg’s wife and son in advance for what he’s going to do to the WWE Hall of Famer on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Gunther ended his intense promo by saying:
“It’s my personal responsibility to make sure that the legacy and the myth of Bill Goldberg forever dies.”
– Adam Pearce announced that The New Day will defend the World Tag Team Championship against Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & JD McDonagh next week on RAW.
– Becky Lynch (c) def. Bayley via DQ to retain the Women’s Intercontinental Championship after Lyra Valkyria attacked Becky
– Penta attacked Chad Gable backstage after Chad said he’s glad Bron Breakker destroyed Penta. Prior to this, Gable said Ivy Nile is his favorite student and told her to handle Stephanie Vaquer.
– WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez called out Rhea Ripley for a fight and a brawl broke out. Rhea was about to slam Raquel through a table, but Roxanne Perez came out. Rhea took out Roxanne, but then got slammed through a table by Raquel. Adam Pearce booked Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez in a Street Fight at Night of Champions.
– Asuka told Women’s World Champion IYO SKY that she’ll see her at SummerSlam. IYO said she’ll be ready.
– WWE announced Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross for Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. Sami punched Kross earlier on RAW after Kross said he was right when he said Sami will lose to Randy Orton, and that Sami will never be a World Champion.
– Cody Rhodes def. Jey Uso to reach the Final of the King of the Ring tournament
Rhodes will now face Randy Orton at Night of Champions. Cody and Jey showed respect to each other after the match.
