Wendy Barlow, who is Ric Flair’s fiancée, shared the following update on The Nature Boy’s status:
“I took Ric to the hospital Friday night with severe abdominal pain. From that moment on it all seems like a nightmare, multiple organ problems. Not to go into too many details, I want everyone to know he still needs prayers as he is still in critical condition. And no, he did not have colon surgery, it was another surgery!”
After it became known that it wasn’t a colon surgery, PWInsider reported that the surgery was for his bowels due to a massive obstruction that resulted in other health issues too. Flair then suffered a kidney failure and is currently on dialysis to fix the problem. Flair is still in a critical state and at least one more surgery is expected in the coming weeks.
