On this week’s RAW in Scotland, John Cena said he’s going to make everyone forget about Ric Flair when he wins his 17th World Title by defeating WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.

During an interview with TMZ Sports, Flair had the following to say about Cena’s promo:

“I’m just glad I’m alive after the life I’ve led to be here to hear it. I got news for John. They’ve been trying to get rid of the ‘Wooo’ for 50 years. The ‘Wooo’ isn’t going away, and neither is Ric Flair, and the odds of him winning a 17th World Title are astronomical.”

The Nature Boy also noted that Cena’s heel turn is the coolest thing WWE could have done on the road to WrestleMania.

When asked if he’ll be at WrestleMania 41, the 2-time WWE Hall of Famer replied:

“Hell yeah. I’m going to the pool party with you.”

Ric Flair Wants To Stop John Cena From Breaking His Record

After John Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber, Ric Flair tweeted the following:

“It’s Been 25 Years Since I Won My Last, 16th World Championship, According To The WWE. Blood, Sweat, And Tears! Harley Race, Bruiser Brody, Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, Brett Hart, Undertaker, Ricky Steamboat. The List Is Endless Of World Class Opponents. Unparalleled!

My 1984 Schedule Has Actually Been Called Impossible To Perform. 60 & 90 Minute Matches! Let’s Get Serious!

John Cena, I Love You And Respect You, But You Ain’t Taking Nothing From Cody Rhodes!

If I Have To Fight My Way Through Security To Hit The Ring, I Will. I’ll Take The Day Off Of Blood Thinners. LFG! Let’s Do This!”

Flair later threatened Cena once again by posting the following:

“John Cena Will Have To Go Through Me To Get To 17! Just Saying! WOOOOO!”

John Cena’s Next Appearance

Cena is scheduled to appear on next week’s RAW in London, where he will confront WWE Champion Cody Rhodes once again.

This is currently Cena’s last advertised TV appearance until WrestleMania 41.
