2-Time WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW talent Ric Flair was kicked out of Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza in Gainesville, Florida. Here’s what The Nature Boy tweeted:

“I Spent $1500 At @PiesanosSFP To Be Disrespected More Than I Ever Have In My Entire Life. After Taking 20 Pictures With Customers And Staff, I Was Asked To Leave Because Of An Issue I Had With The Kitchen Manager Taking Too Long In The Bathroom. I Would Highly Recommend That Anyone Who Wants To Enjoy A Relaxing Time In Gainesville At A Nice Restaurant To Never Visit This Place! WOOOOO!”

As reported by The Gainesville Sun, Jerry Roberts, co-owner of Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, clarified that video footage sheds light on the reason for Flair’s removal from the restaurant. However, the video has not been made available to the public.

“We have reviewed video of the incident that took place recently at our restaurant. It is clear that our team worked in a professional manner to ensure the safety of guests and staff. We have thanked our team for their professionalism. We are proud of how they responded to this situation, demonstrating our team values.”

However, footage of the incident was posted by a person at that restaurant:

In an update on this situation, Flair provided a statement to The Gainsville Sun, recounting the incident where he was approached by a staff member while entering the bathroom. Flair requested the individual to leave, citing his personal policy of not engaging in handshakes or photo-taking within restroom premises. Flair claimed that the man proceeded to use a stall, where he was visible through the gaps, seemingly occupied with texting. Upon exiting the stall, Flair alleged that a female employee accused him of being a “peeping tom” and a “creep”.

Flair said:

“I’m not going to tolerate that, and you wouldn’t either. That’s a pretty offensive remark. I’ll be quite honest with you, I was pi$$ed because I didn’t do anything wrong. It’s my word against the kitchen employee, and it makes no sense. I admit to everything I said. I have no problem with it because I was mad.”

Flair said he’s considering filing a lawsuit and added:

“I have the money to buy the restaurant. It’ll be called Ric Flair’s Italian Bistro.”

During an appearance on The MJ Morning Show on Q105, Flair expressed, “It just escalated, and I was wrong for getting mad, but I kind of felt like I was defending my position”, acknowledging his error in losing his composure. He admitted, “I wrong for losing my temper. When I feel like I’m put in that area where I’m uncomfortable and all of a sudden everything just fell apart, I got upset”.

Flair conceded that he should have simply left the situation, but he was taken aback when someone in the kitchen accused him of misconduct in the bathroom, with only him and the employee present.

He refuted claims of being intoxicated, asserting that he had only consumed Michelob Ultras and “probably” two mixed drinks. Flair mentioned that he ordered Piesanos from Uber Eats following the incident.
