On this day in Pro Wrestling history on January 23, 1996, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Clash Of The Champions 32’ LIVE on TBS from the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Caesars Palace has also been the location of WWF WrestleMania IX, almost 3 years earlier, but while the World Wrestling Federation went for the open-air arena, WCW booked their Clash event to be held in the indoor arena.

• Ric Flair Shows Up At The Manhattan Center In A Raw 25 Dark Segment

In a dark segment at the Manhattan Center at Raw 25, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair showed up and joined DX & Razor Ramon in the ring. Flair talked about how he made a bad decision of returning to WCW after just 3 Raw shows in 1993 and thanked Shawn Michaels for his retirement match.

• Update On If Two WWE Stars Will Compete In Their Title Matches At Royal Rumble 2018

As we noted before Kevin Owens & Jason Jordan are dealing with some minor injuries. WWE isn’t using them at recent WWE Live Events as a precautionary measure. Both of them will still compete in their scheduled Title matches at this Sunday’s Royal Rumble 2018 PPV.

Jason Jordan & Seth Rollins will defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus) and Kevin Owens will team up with Sami Zayn to face “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles for the WWE Championship in a 2 on 1 handicap match.
