• Ric Flair Undergoing Serious Surgery Today
As we noted earlier, TMZ Sports reported that two time WWE Hall of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair was rushed to a hospital earlier today due to a serious medical emergency.
During a Starrcast media call, Conrad Thompson revealed that Flair went to the hospital for a planned procedure and that the report TMZ put out was blown way out of proportion.
Conrad noted that Flair’s family knew about the procedure and that Flair wanted to get it done before Starrcast II (where a Ric Flair Roast will take place).
Flair’s wife, Wendy Barlow, said the following regarding this:
“Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover.”
FOX 5 is reporting that even though Flair’s family knew he was scheduled to get this procedure done, it’s still serious. The procedure is related to a heart condition that has been troubling Ric for years and it takes place today.
