On a recent episode of the weekly ‘One of a Kind’ podcast, ECW/WWF Legend Rob Van Dam spoke about All Elite Wrestling, and what they need to do now, after they got rid of CM Punk for good.
Here’s the advice RVD gave them on his podcast:
“Regain balance. If you lost a heavyweight and the ship’s rocking too far in one direction, just put some focus on some other guys. WWE’s always been criticized for being like a one-guy company, it was John Cena, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, and Steve Austin.
But, I’m like that, too, socially, I’m a ‘put all your eggs in one basket’ kind of guy when it comes to people that are real close to me, and if it fails, it hurts. But, hey, it’s just like getting your head cut off.
I don’t know if his fans are so loyal that they won’t support the thing without him. Otherwise, yeah, just regain composure, put your fists back up, get ready for the next blow, because it’s coming.”
Rob Van Dam’s legacy in professional wrestling is one of innovation, passion, and excellence. His ability to connect with fans, push the boundaries of what was possible in the ring, and his dedication to staying true to himself set him apart. RVD inspired a generation of high-flyers and revolutionized the wrestling landscape.
RVD’s professional wrestling career is a testament to the power of individuality and the pursuit of excellence. From his early days on the independent circuit to his legendary runs in ECW and the WWF/WWE, RVD’s impact on the industry is undeniable.
He will forever be remembered as ‘The Whole F’N Show’ who brought an unmatched level of excitement and athleticism to the world of professional wrestling.
