Taz Says The Bludgeon Brothers Gimmick Feels Like Old School WWF

During a recent edition of “The Taz Show” podcast, ECW Legend Taz discussed The Bludgeon Brothers’ match and AJ Styles’ segment from last week’s episode of SmackDown Live. Below are the highlights:

On The Bludgeon Brothers:

“Bludgeon Brothers, the gimmick is what they kind of have been showing you in the vignettes. Both these guys can work. They’re both obviously huge guys, physical guys, very intense.

I thought Harper looked a little more muscular than I’m used to seeing him. He’s definitely spending some time in the weight room and eating better. You could just tell from his physique.

The gimmick… they’re wearing like that burgundy with the black, it looked like Old School WWF. They’re all trying too hard with this stuff, the character. It’s like you know you’re putting a sledgehammer in the aisleway…. Okay, let’s leave the sledgehammers and take our jackets off right in aisleway, that’s what the creative team came up with?

Like that’s what we’re gonna do? When the bell rang they brought it like…you know…they can. They were fast, aggressive, big, mean. They ate up the Hypes. I mean the Hype Bros, it was like…you know…not a good night for them.”

On AJ Styles’ Segment:

“I thought it was cool. They showed Paul Heyman putting him over on social media gimmick and then AJ cut a really good promo. And then Jinder on the screen, all that Clash of Champions. They’ll work with each other. He’s putting his rematch clause in whatever, the whole nine yards. I was cool with the whole thing.

I liked the whole segment. I liked the Singh Brothers attacking AJ from behind. They came out of nowhere. You forgot about the Singh Brothers. Jinder is watching from the big screen. I liked the whole segment. I thought it was cool.”

The Rock’s Updated Bull Tattoo Finally Finished (Video)

Old School WWF Legend The Rock’s updated Bull tattoo has finally been finished. Below is what he posted on Instagram:

“After approximately 30 hours of tattooing (4 sessions) with my good bud and iconic artist Nikko Hurtado, the story of my skull is complete.

Flow of positive energy is constant thru the breathe of life.

Horns always positioned forward. Not up, but forward – representing forward progress and always at the ready to dig in and dig deep.

Eye is the mana – the spirit and the power. It’s everything. It’s where I draw my strength from all things I love and protect.

As with my Polynesian tattoo on the left side of body, the symbolic mana lays over my heart.

We all have mana. Our strength. You just have to find it.

#BullDNA #Energy #Progress #Mana”
