Below are the complete results from tonight’s SmackDown on the USA Network, featuring the return of Roman Reigns.
– Cody Rhodes (c) def. Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship
The Bloodline attacked Cody after the match, which led to Roman Reigns making his return to save The American Nightmare. Jacob Fatu pulled Solo out of the cage to save him from Roman’s spear. Roman challenged Jacob to a fight. Jacob entered the cage and was ready, but Solo pulled him out.

– In an interview with Cathy Kelley, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis said Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu have a challenge for Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, and that the offer they have is hard to refuse. Aldis will find out more about it.

After the match, Chelsea Green attacked Michin with a Trash Can.
– Rob Van Dam (with his wife Katie Forbes), Vickie Guerrero, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser were shown at ringside. Other Legends were shown seated at ringside later in the show.
– Kevin Owens said his mystery tag team partner had some travel issues, so he brought out a local wrestler named Ricky to team up with him against Austin Theory & Grayson Waller. However, Owens was informed that his partner has arrived. Owens then hit Ricky with a Stunner and out came Randy Orton to team up with Owens. This was Orton’s first appearance after his loss to Gunther.

– Nick Aldis revealed that Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu have challenged Roman Reigns & WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to a tag team match at Bad Blood. Cody came in and said he’s done with The Bloodline and that all of this is Roman’s problem. Cody refused to sign the contract.
– Booker T, Queen Sharmell, Sheamus and Michael PS Hayes were shown seated ringside.
– Nia Jax revealed that Nick Aldis has informed her she’ll be defending the WWE Women’s Championship at Bad Blood. Bayley came out and asked for a title rematch because Nia needed Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam to defeat her. Tiffany came out and said Bayley is pathetic. Naomi came out and she wants the Women’s Title as well. Nia challenges Bayley and Naomi to face her and Tiffany next week. If Bayley and Naomi win, then whoever gets in pinfall to secure the win will get to face Nia for the title at Bad Blood. Naomi & Bayley accepted. Nia said if Bayley and Naomi lose, then the one who gets pinned will have to leave SmackDown permanently. Tiffany tried to attack Bayley, but Naomi laid her out.
– Nick Aldis said Roman Reigns will address The Bloodline situation in the ring in the main event segment.
– Ron Simmons, Teddy Long, William Regal, Bobby Roode & Damian Priest were shown at ringside.
– Andrade def. Carmelo Hayes to win their 5-match series by 3-2
United States Champion LA Knight came out after the match and said he will defend his title against Andrade next week.
– WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax reminded Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill that she beat both of them to win the Queen of the Ring tournament, and that SmackDown is her kingdom.
– Roman Reigns came to the ring and a loud OTC chant broke out. Nick Aldis began talking about his history with Roman, and Roman put his hand forward. Nick handed him the contract. Roman smiled, put the contract in his other hand and put his right hand forward again and got the mic. Roman said he doesn’t need a contract or a tag team partner and he definitely doesn’t need Cody Rhodes’ help. Roman said whether he has his family’s Ula Fala or not, he is still The Tribal Chief. Not only is he the original Tribal Chief, he is the only Tribal Chief. Roman said this is his show and this is his WWE. Cody Rhodes then came out.

Cody said: “Your WWE? It was… but it hasn’t been since WrestleMania.”
Both men dropped their mics and it looked like they were about to fight, but Solo Sikoa’s music hit. Solo came out with Jacob Fatu. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attacked Roman and Cody from behind, but they took him out.
Roman took the contract and signed it. Solo points that Cody didn’t sign it. Cody then asked for the contract and Roman gave it to him. Cody signs it and makes it official.

Reigns’ first match since WrestleMania 40 will take place at Bad Blood. It’ll be Roman Reigns & WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu.
